Monroe is a handsome 2 year old Lionhead who was surrendered to the Animal Rescue League because his owner was not able to properly care for him. Monroe cannot push his nose far enough through the bars of his crate to get your attention. He is right there, front and center when you walk in the rabbit room. He cannot wait for you to open the pen and pet his face and then spoil him with 'out time' where he can hop around. He always makes his way back to the humans though, looking for more attention and pats on the forehead, then off he hops again. What a pleasant rabbit, who would make a great rabbit for a first-time rabbit owner. He may also make a great companion rabbit to a spayed female rabbit. To meet Monroe, you'll need to contact Suzanne at 724.766.9399 or by email suzanne.muth@gmail.com

Please Note: Monroe will not be adopted as a pet for children. He deserves to be a family member, not treated like a toy. He may live for another 10 years or more, so be ready to commit to him for the rest of his life when placing an application.
