Baby season is quickly approaching at Humane Animal Rescue of Pittsburgh’s Wildlife Rehabilitation Center! Every spring, thousands of baby wildlife, some injured or orphaned, arrive at the center in need of our help. We want all of our babies to thrive. Your gift will help us provide the vital care they need to make this possible!

Join us in person for our Annual Wildlife Baby Shower at HARP’s East Side Shelter (6926 Hamilton Ave. Pittsburgh 15208) on Saturday, April 13th from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM. During the celebration, guests can enjoy animal encounters, crafts, snacks, and more!

NEW THIS YEAR:

Celebrate the arrival of spring and the impending baby season by joining our “Fill A Nest” campaign throughout April at our Wildlife Rehabilitation Center. We invite local companies, organizations, and groups to participate in this initiative to help us prepare for the influx of baby wildlife we see at our center, some injured or orphaned! Groups are encouraged to gather essential items from our wildlife center’s wish list, like sweet potato baby food, unsalted nuts, bird seed and so much more. Please contact Chelsea at CGale@humaneanimalrescue.org to schedule your donation drop-off!

KNOW BEFORE YOU GO:
We kindly request that no dogs accompany you to the baby shower. Our cherished education ambassadors will be joining us throughout the event, and ensuring the safety and well-being of all attendees and education ambassadors is our top priority.

What animals can you expect to see at the annual WLC baby shower? You’ll have the delight of meeting our education ambassadors! While we recognize the eagerness to catch a glimpse of the young orphans currently under our care, we must prioritize minimizing human interaction with these precious babies to preserve their wild instincts and ensure their successful rehabilitation.
